Ngorongoro Crater is a World heritage, the jewel in its crown is a deep, volcanic crater. It is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Moreover, it is one of Tanzania’s most spectacular places to spot wild animals,it has the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Season & Climate

Conditions at Ngorongoro differ contingent upon the elevation. Higher up, in the cavity itself, it can get very cold during the evening, especially upon the edge. Yet, down in the more prominent protection zone, it remains very warm. During the zone’s Dry season (June to October) there’s scarcely a cloud in the sky. In the Wet season (November to May) you’ll go up against two times of downpours isolated by a concise drought.
